Micheal Crichton, a famous author for his science fiction, and techno-thriller novels was born on October 23, 1942 ( to November 4, 2008).

He had won many awards during his lifespan as Best Mystery Writer, A Writers Guild of America. He was also in the list of 50 most beautiful people of America - by People magazine.

My condolences To the family of Micheal Crichton. I've read his books over and over again. He's was a briliant author and he will be missed by alot of people al over the world. I'm from Holland and I'm glad that his books are aviable in english in my country. Jurassic park is one of his best books he wrote. We will miss him.

My condelences to his family and friends.  Michael Crichton was one of my favorite authors ever since I read Jurassic Park back when I was in 6th grade.  I am currently working on a MS in Human Genetics, and it was reading Jurassic Park that first sparked my interest in genetics.  He will be deeply missed by readers everywhere.

My condolences to the family, friends and fans of this great writer. Nothing made me happier than when a new Crichton novel hit the bookstores. I was never disappointed. His stories will be with me forever and I regret never having met him.
